As an actor:
Sam has appeared on stage in Toronto, London, and New York. She recently made her
West End debut in the UK Premiere of Daniel J Rubin’s THE VIEWING ROOM opposite Leonard
Roberts of TV’s HEROES. Other selected theatre includes THE POSITION (Joined Up Writers – Old
Red Lion Theatre, London) . HOSTAGE/BLEACH/BURN (Practicum Theatre – Theatre 503, London.
The Space, St. Albans .The Etcetera Theatre, London) THE TALE OF RANCOR (Blue Inc – London,
New York, Philadelphia) MEASURE FOR MEASURE (Acting Shakespeare Company – Off Bdwy,
New York) OEDIPUS REX (The Drama Studio – London) and NARCISS I (Blue Inc – London).
Selected film includes the short film JUMPING THE RAILS opposite Lee Latchford-Evans of the band
STEPS, which is currently in post-production. The feature film LIE STILL (Indobrit Productions)
The award-winning short YOU PLAY THE HAND YOU’RE DEALT (Almost Midnight Prods.)

As a playwright:
Sam has won several awards for excellence in playwriting in Canada. In 1999, she was invited to join the Tarragon Theatre’s Playwright's Unit, an honour previously extended to such promising Canadian artists as filmmaker Atom Egoyan. In 2004 she completed the Young Writers Programme at the Royal Court Theatre in London, England. Her play HUSH, a one-act, premiered at the Pleasance Dome at the Edinburgh Festival 2005, garnering a Fringe First Nomination and later transferred to The Arcola Theatre, London. Sam’s latest play, THE FETCH received a workshop reading in The Ashcroft Room, Stratford-Upon-Avon, in January 2006 under the direction of RSC assistant director Donnacadh O’Briain.
THE FETCH has subsequently been awarded The Special Merit Prize in Theatre BC’s National Playwriting Competition and gone on to receive full productions in London and British Columbia, Canada. Sam has recently received a grant from the Peggy Ramsay Foundation toward the completion of her next play, THE SWEET AND RIGHT.

Film Project for her work in 'Blur' directed by Jazz Virk
Sam is currently starring in the new music video for Polaris winning band
'Fucked Up's song 'Queen of Hearts' and the follow up 'Turn The Season' on their
new acclaimed album 'David Comes to Life'. Both videos are directed by Scott Cudmore.
